Now Takes Up Less Space! We have made it narrower, and about the same height as our base units.
This is the 'universal' version of our PoE Injector product. It has been re-worked to be compatible with both the 'Traditional' PoE wiring used by Canopy FSK, Trango, Mikrotik, Ubiquity and others and the new 'swapped pins' arrangement found in the Canopy 430 Products. It does this by providing a set of jumpers on each PoE injector 'port' which permits the selection of the polarity of each spare wire in the CAT5 cable.
PoE injection is needed at most modern data communications sites. Almost every wireless radio now works via PoE. Most of them include some sort of oversized power supply that turns your enclosure into a tangled mess of power cords and wires. And if you want to control each radio separately, you then need to buy some sort of AC controller for each plug.
Our PoE injector helps solve these problems. First of all, it is capable of replacing up to 4 PoE injectors in a single, DIN rail or wall mount package. Each port has an separate power input which permits the use of radios with differing voltage and polarity requirements on a single injector.
Of course, the biggest benefit of our injector over a traditional injector is that each port is individually controllable and monitorable via the SiteMonitor Base unit. Want to cycle power on a single unit? Just issue the appropriate SNMP query via our SiteMonitor manager or any other SNMP tool. All from the comfort of your office.
Note: This unit *requires* a SiteMonitor Base Unit to operate. Please see the description for the SiteMonitor Base Unit or the operation guide for more information before you order.
Note for Canopy Users: This unit does *not* provide sync over power. In order to provide sync, you will need our sitemonitor controlled syncinjector, also available on this site.
