IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING A REVISION CHANGE: New orders will be filled with 'Revision E' SyncPipe Basics. The main difference between the two is that Revision C pipes have a lower sensitivity receiver which contains a holdover timer which provides sync if GPS lock is lost, and that the Revision E pipes have a higher sensitivity receiver which is less likely to loose lock - but do not have a holdover timer. This change was necessitated by our GPS supplier discontinuing the module used in the older Revision C pipes.
The SyncPipe Basic is an entry level GPS sync receiver which is designed to be used with our SyncInjector product. It has a single RJ45 port which connects directly to the SyncInjector. When combined with a SyncInjector, the system contains everything necessary to receive the high-accuracy timing signal from the GPS constellation which Canopy radios need to provide reliable service.
This product includes the SyncPipe receiver (pictured). This GPS Receiver is designed to be used with a SyncInjector which must be purchased separately. It does not have a RJ12 timing port which is used to connect directly to the timing port on a canopy radio. The GPS antenna is actually integrated into the receiver so no additional antenna or coax is needed.
SHIPPING SCHEDULE: If the quantity available is greater than zero, then we have that many SyncPipes on the shelf ready to ship. For in-stock orders, we try to ship within a day or two. If the quantity available is less than zero (negative) this means we are out of stock. Out of stock orders are typically shipped within 2-3 weeks.
